OBER group was conceived and formed in the year 1977 by a team of qualified Civil Engineers possessing long-standing experience in various facets of constructional activities. The group was pledged to meet the growing demands of construction industry both in the Government and in the Private Sector.

With the passage of time the group acutely felt the necessity of diversification to keep pace with the increasing needs of the industry. In response to this changed scenario, a number of sister units were gradually created to take care of the expanded area of operation.

Currently, the group carries out business in two names each of which is capable of functioning independently as well as complementary to each other whenever such need arises. The names of individual units along with their major zones of activity are summed up below:-

This unit is the mother organisation which is functioning since 1977 and excelled itself in all major fields of Civil Engineering activities with a proven track record and large clientele.

2. OBER Structures (India) Pvt. Ltd.
Specialises in :- 
     Structural Steel Work
     Steel Bridge Girders
     Microwave Tower
     Tubular Steel Structures
     Special Space Frame Structures 

This unit has, in its possession, a well equipped workshop covering about 4000 Sq.M. area with captive power generation facility and it is located near Calcutta Airport. The unit also undertakes site erection of fabricated steel works like Gantry Point loading, Utilities and Off-sites, Microwave Towers etc. This is a registered SSI Unit. The average monthly production is 100 MT. 

The OBER group has recently been acquired by a Delhi based entrepreneur, Mr. Anuraag Gupta who is the joint Managing Director for Majestic Properties and Mrs. Suchi Gupta who is the current Chairperson for OBER group. This company has been purchased by him at his personal capacity.
